Day by Day Granulate

It is not really necessary to exhaust every possibility to push the color of your discus. A solid and balanced daily diet is sufficient, which offers everything the discus needs, but without additives for e.g. ‚especially‘ fast growth and the like. „Day by Day“ granules offer exactly this possibility. All important vitamins, minerals, proteins, fats and fibers are included and provide a completely sufficient nutrient supply.
The reduction of water pollution also ensures daily feeding without hesitation.
As with all our Discus Granules, we at Discusfood have of course paid special attention to the digestibility of the Day by Day“ food.

Turkey Heart Granulate

he alternative for all who want to feed animal protein but not beef. No, discus do not eat turkeys in nature…, but as with beef heart, the aim here is not to create conditions for the animals that are as close to nature as possible, but at least to provide them with the best possible food, so that they are not exposed to natural selection pressure.
Just as with beef protein, in the case of turkey protein only those parts are processed which the discus can actually digest, because for example the collagens cannot be broken down. These can, if fed in high amounts, even harm the fish, as for example the collagens accumulate in layers on the intestinal wall and thus create a perfect reproduction milieu for undesirable parasites. The water pollution of „Turkey Heart Soft Granules“ is many times lower than it can be the case when feeding frozen food proteins. In addition, there are the advantages of storage, dosage and longer shelf life compared to frozen food.
The softness of the granules is a special feature, which further increases the acceptance and digestibility of the feed.

Primarily designed for discus fish, this food is equally suitable for all other flake-eating ornamental fish, not least because of its high-quality ingredients.
The most outstanding feature of the composition is the beef protein. From the point of view of naturalness, discus fish do not eat cows. However, the attention here is of course to provide his protégés with a well digestible source of protein, so as not to expose them to the pressure of natural selection, but to provide the animals on the part of the feed in the best possible way.
Raw beef heart, as it is processed for example in frozen food, contains collagens, which the Discus cannot break down due to a lack of enzymes. These indigestible bovine proteins can accumulate in layers on the intestinal wall, allowing parasites such as flagellates to proliferate. Fish fed raw beef heart for a long time can therefore appear weakened and emaciated, and in the further course even develop the so-called hole disease.
