D-D Jumpguard covers are a very lightweight, sleek, low visual impact and easy to construct screen cover suitable for most aquarium types, specifically designed to prevent fish loss due to jumping whilst maintaining high light penetration.

The Jumpguard Tank Cover is designed sit neatly inside the top lip of the aquarium glass, with all items supplied oversized to allow you to cut to fit your own aquarium.

RowaCarbon is an unusually high-performance activated carbon based on the finest quality hard coal and contains extremely low levels of Phosphate.
Within the aquarium activated carbon will remove toxins and yellowing from the water which will improve the health of your livestock and improve the penetration of light leaving your aquarium crystal clear.
Many low cost carbon products on the market place are washed in phosphoric acid as a final stage of their preparation and can release high levels of Phosphate into the water. RowaCarbon contains extremely low levels of Phosphate.
Problems with algae are often caused by the release of phosphate from activated carbon with high POI (Phosphate Output Index) levels - often as high as 14.0, which inhibits lime synthesis in coralline algae, corals and other organisms that deposit lime.RowaCarbon is distinguished by its exceptionally low POI level of only 1.3 which is considerably below detection levels of phosphate test kits available to the hobbyist.

Rowaphos is the professional method of removing Phosphate and Silicate in all types of Aquariums and Ponds. RowaPhos is guaranteed to remove more phosphate than any other product worldwide.
In freshwater or salt water aquariums phosphates will feed nuisance algae which can overrun plants and expensive corals spoiling the aesthetics of the tank and in extreme cases killing its inhabitants.
Within the reef aquarium, phosphates will greatly affect the formation of coral skeletons by reducing calcification by over 50% and by inhibiting the deposition of strontium. It is suggested by Borneman that phosphates are a direct poison to calcification.
RowaPhos is a unique and patented, man made ferric hydroxide material chemically engineered for the efficient removal of phosphates, arsenic and silicates from fresh and salt water, having initially been developed in Germany for treating mains water supplies.
RowaPhos should not be confused with natural materials, which are generally based on aluminium oxide, (zeolite) or even other iron based products which claim to be the same product from other manufacturers.

RowaPhos has the largest absorption ability of any phosphate product worldwide and will not leach back in to the water. This saves the need for immediate removal once the media is exhausted. The product is easy to use and will improve the water quality wherever Phosphate or Silicate is a problem.
It is of interest to Marine and Reef Aquariums where its unrivalled capabilities have shown it to be extremely beneficial in the control of nuisance algae’s and the growth of hard corals.
Constant use of the product is recommended, as its abilities to control nuisance algae is a major benefit.

Aquascape Construction Epoxy - 113g (4oz) pack

Aquascape is a two-part epoxy putty that has been specially developed by D-D for use in salt water and freshwater aquariums and other underwater applications.
In the marine aquarium it is ideal for bonding together live rock to form complicated structures and avoiding rock falls caused by turbo snails, sea urchins and strong current flow, for preparing coral frags and for creating clam bases to prevent them being attacked and ultimately killed by bristle worms. In addition it can be used to repair leaky pipework, broken equipment or for bonding items to the aquarium glass.
Aquascape has been developed to be stickier than most epoxies so that it bonds easier to wet substrates and the purple version has been formulated to dry under water to the colour of coralline algae. This makes it initially more natural within a marine aquarium during the period before being encrusted with true coralline algae. Note however that when cured out of the water the colour will be darker representing the deep red coralline algae colour.
For freshwater aquariums and for repairing liners and preformed ponds, the Rock Grey version is perhaps more suitable however both colours can be used in any environment.

Applications in Marine Aquariums:
Coral Fragging and Propogation
Aquascape is ideal for working with coral frags and can be used to fix corals to frag bases or direct to rock and is easily overgrown by corals or coralline algae.
If positioning large corals we would suggest that you apply the Aquascape to the coral and splash it around in a container of tank water to remove any residues before pushing into position.

Clam Protection
Clams are very susceptible to attack by bristle worms, especially when positioned on a sandy or gravel substrate. If you have had clams die in the past then this is probably why as the worms attack the base of the clam at night and slowly eat it from the inside.
If an Aquascape base shaped to the individual clam before positioning on the base inside the aquarium, the clam will glue itself onto the Aquascape base and protect itself against any attack.

Rock Structures
Snails, fish and urchins can cause movement and overturn rocks and corals in the aquarium therefore we always recommend that rock structures and corals are always bonded together to prevent rockslides damage or disturbance to the system.
Blobs of Aquascape can also be used to create feet on the base of the foundation rocks for increased stability and to lift the rock off the substrate thus preventing anoxic areas from developing.
